13th.c "Bellaigue" scabbard

Scabbard/sword belt set, period 1220-1245, after the effigy of Archambault VIII of Bourbon, Lord of Montluçon (effigy of the abbey of Notre Dame de Bellaigue) for a type XII sword forged by Gaël Fabre.

Characteristics :

- Tailor-made scabbard core made of lime wood

- Vegetable-tanned leather cover glued and stitched. Vegetable dyeing

- Sword belt in vegetable-tanned leather dyed with walnut stain

- Custom-made brass chape (Model after effigy) 

- Bronze buckles
