Scabbard/sword belt* for a sword of the 1st half of the 15th century forged by Gaël Fabre.
Characteristics :
- Custom-made scabbard core in lime wood assembled with bone glue.
- Linen middle layer + bone glue
- Silk velvet covering (100% natural silk, from Prelle manufacture, Lyon)
- Sword belt in vegetable-tanned leather covered with silk velvet (100% natural silk, from Prelle factory, Lyon)
- Acid-patinate silver-plated bronze buckles
- Acid-patinate silver-plated brass chape
- Acid-patinate silver-plated bronze fret with flowers
- Acid-patinate silver-plated copper scabbard mouthpiece (locket), surmounted by a bronze shield decorated with traditional enamels (Arms of Louis III of Anjou)
