Scabbard/sword belt set for a type XII sword forged by Gaël Fabre.
It is a reproduction of the one represented on the statue of Margrave Ekkehard II of Misnie, visible in Naumburg Cathedral in Germany and dated around 1250.
Characteristics :
- Custom-made lime wood core assembled with bone glue
- Covered in vegetable-tanned leather. Blackened with iron acetate
- Scabbard mouth decorated with 24 carat gold leaf (hearts)
- "Snake tongue" type sword belt in alum-tanned leather
- Custom-made brass chape
