13th.c scabbard

Scabbard/sword belt set for a type X sword forged by Gaël Fabre.

This scabbard is inspired by the one represented on the statue of Margrave Ekkehard II of Misnie, visible at Naumburg Cathedral in Germany and dated around 1250.

Characteristics :

- Custom-made lime wood core assembled with bone glue

- Covered in vegetable-tanned leather. Blackened with iron acetate

- "Snake tongue" type sword belt in alum-tanned leather

- Custom-made brass chape
