13th.c scabbard

Scabbard/sword belt set for a type XII sword forged by Gaël Fabre.

Characteristics :

- Scabbard core custom made of lime wood.

- Intermediate layer of linen coated with bone glue

- Vegetable-tanned leather covering, sewn, dyed and waxed (natural dyeing)

- "Snake tongue" type sword belt in white leather tanned with alum (the assembly is based on the scabbard of Sancho IV of Castilla)

- Custom-made brass bouterolle ("Maciejowski's Bible" model)
